OMG!! i need help desperately!! i have this maths problem and i need help!

the question is like this:

you want to by something that is worth $7500. u dont have much money so u borrowed money from 3 of ur friends, each $2500. so when u had just enough money, u went to buy that thing. but when u reached, the sales person told u that there will be a discount and the price of ur thing is now worth $7000. so u have a remainder of $500 and u dont want to owe ur friends so much money so u decided to return $100 dollars to each of ur friends and u have $200 left with u.

when u calculate the total amount that u have to return to ur friends is $7200. and u have $200 with u so the total is $7400. but u borrowed $7500 in the first place. so where is the $100?

haiz. please anyone... who can help mi?!?!
